President Donald Trump has revealed that there will be a three-day ceasefire in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
In a Truth Social post on Friday, Trump stated that there would be a ceasefire between the two countries from May 9th until May 11th.
The president said that pursuant to a request made directly from him, the ceasefire will “include a suspension of all kinetic activity, and also a prison swap of 1,000 prisoners from each Country.”
The president concluded his post by adding, “talks are continuing on ending this Major Conflict, the biggest since World War II, and we are getting closer and closer every day.”
